Robert A. Rakevich

Bob was born on November 7, 1936 in Aberdeen, WA to Nick and Viola Rakevich. He passed away on April 4, 2011. He will be missed by many and especially by his wife of 51 years Phyllis, his two children Barbara Greatwood and John Rakevich and brother Fred Rakevich. Bob was talented in a variety of careers including radar technician in the Air Force, an Electronics Engineer for Boeing and a private company that contracted to naval bases, owner of a Montgomery Ward store in Elma, home builder, helped start Elma Citizens Bank and stock broker/financial advisor prior to retiring in 2001. He was also on the Elma Town Council. Bob was an avid bridge player with over 5000 points. He and Phyllis were able to travel on many cruises with "free passage" as Phyllis taught bridge on board. "Free" was a favorite word for Bob. There will be a small private gathering for friends and family to celebrate the life of Bob Rakevich.
